Revierken comede uijt die Peel.

The Langven and Maurik Nature Reserves are located in the Raamdal, the catchment area of the river Graafsche Raam, which passes through Grave as De Raam and eventually flows into the Maas. The Peelwater found its way to the Maas via the river. On an old engraving, De Raam is described as 'Revierken comede uijt die Peel'. The Langenboomse forests was originally a production forest, but the current management has made it a more varied and attractive forest. After leaving this forest area, the stage goes to the Tongelaar Estate, a varied area with a few farms with small fields, not to mention the Tongelaar Castle. In the estate you follow the Lage Raam. When the Lage Raam meets the Peel Canal, the river continues under the name Graafsche Raam. As mentioned in previous stages, the river De Raam and the Peel Canal were part of the Peel-Raamstelling. After leaving estate Tongelaar, you pass through the still young beautiful nature reserve Langven and the Maurik. In the area is the beautiful Langven, from the low drifting dunes you have a beautiful view over the fen. At the end of the Peel path, De Raam is followed by Grave.
