This beautiful walk in the Lüneburger Heide nature reserve is all about the beautiful Behringer Heide. Along the way you have several viewpoints at the Suhorn, Wümmeberg and Tütsberg.
The walk goes through the beautiful Pietzmoor moor area. This nature reserve is located on the southern edge of the Lüneburgerheide nature reserve and is 8,000 years old. Along the way in spring, the cotton grass flower will certainly catch your attention. Further along the route you can enjoy the extensive heathland of the Osterheide.
The hike offers beautiful views of the foothills of the northern Harz and the Brocken. You can observe these beautiful animals at the lynx shelter. Through the Eckertal, with beautiful mixed forests, you follow the course of the Ecker in the direction of the Molkenhaus.
Walk through the Harz National Park to the Bodebruch, a humid swamp area and via the former border road to the top of the Achtermannshöhe where you have a beautiful view.
The walk goes from the beautiful Oderteich lake along the fairytale path to Torfhaus. At Torfhaus you have a beautiful view of the Brocken with its 1141 meters, the highest mountain in the Harz. The next highlight is the boardwalk next to the Torfhaus Moor, a beautiful heathland area. You walk back along the Kaiserweg to the Oderteich, where the path next to the lake offers beautiful views.
