This walk takes you to the beautiful waterfall of La Larri at the end of the Cirque de la Pineta. To get to the plain of Llanos de la Larri you have to climb a while, but once at the plain it is a a quiet walk to the waterfall.
The walk to the castle of Samitier and the Ermita De San Emeterio Y San Celedonio is short but has a lot to offer in terms of views. From the ruins of the castle you have a beautiful view of the Pyrenees, the gorge of Entremon, the reservoir Medio Mediano and the entire environment.
This beautiful walk goes through the gorge of Anisclo and follows the course of the Rio Bello to La Ripareta. Along the way you will encounter numerous waterfalls and ancient beech trees. You get the views of the Monte Perdido massif as a bonus.
The walk through the gorge of Entremon is on a narrow panorama path high above the Rio Cinca. Along the way you have beautiful views of the gorge and the surrounding mountains. The route goes up to the Mediano reservoir. From the dam you can see the Iglesia De La Asunción. This church is normally two-thirds under water, but with the ongoing drought it is now completely above water again.
The Esquain gorge is spectacular in itself, but this walk has a different purpose. The route takes you to the observation hut of Aves where you can see how vultures are fed at a relatively close distance. Griffon vultures and bearded vultures literally and figuratively fall from the sky. In addition to this spectacle, you can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings during the walk.
This short walk at the foot of the imposing Pēna Montnēsa follows ancient paths used by the locals to bring the black gold, charcoal to their village. Along the way you have beautiful views of the surroundings and the Pyrenees.
This short walk goes along the edge of the Gorges de Escuain to two beautiful viewpoints. Not only do you have a beautiful view of the gorge and the surrounding area, but you will certainly be able to observe griffon vultures and the endangered bearded vulture up close.
This adventurous gps walk leads you through the beautiful Bujaruelo valley along the banks of the Rio Ara. When we cross the Ara via a beautiful bridge, the adventure begins. We enter the wilderness, first it goes steeply up through a forest and then we walk around a few canyons. The descent then goes towards the beautiful Otal valley until you reach the Otal river. The third part is then quietly strolling on a dirt road and a good path towards the starting point.
This route goes through a beech forest to the waterfall of Cuatuero, then you continue to the walls of the Pico Francata where the Faja Canarellos starts. The panoramas on the valleys are absolutely stunning. After the descent you get a nice extra with the waterfalls of the Rio Arazas.
Most people take the popular hike to the Faja de Pelay and Goriz refugio in the Ordesa valley. This walk is less well known but also highly recommended. During this walk you will cross the 'terrace' of Racón, which lies on the north side of the Valle de Ordesa. The views of the Cotatuero and Carriato valleys are really breathtaking.
Although you will never do this beautiful walk on your own, it is a must do if you are in the Alquézar area. You descend into the gorge between the Peña Castibián on the left and Muros de la Colegiata on the right until the Rio Vero. Once on the river bed you should definitely go to the Cueva de Picamartillo, this immense cave is opposite the Barranco de Fuente. Then it continues through the gorge via various spectacular metal walkways to reach a beautiful view platform.
From the village of Morrano you first walk through a mosaic of oak, almond trees and fields. Then it continues through a pine forest to the famous rock formation Huevo de Morrano. Here the Peña Falconera in particular will stand out because of its rounded shape, this monolith consists of a mixture of sand and conglomerate that has been shaped by erosion. You will certainly be able to discover nests of griffon vultures in the rock walls of the Huevo de Morrano. You can also spot the rare bearded vulture here.
This trail goes from the small village of Colungo through the rugged Barranco Arruellos to the natural 'window' Portal Cunarda. Along the way you have beautiful views of the deep canyons and the highest peaks of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido nature park in the Pyrenees.
This walking route has many different facets. From Salto de Bierge you follow the valley of the Alacanadre river along a panorama path. Along the way you have a nice viewpoint on the rock formation El Huevo where the Peña Falconera stands out the most. This rock is as it were the guardian of the spectacular gorge. You will pass the source of El Puntillo and then descend to the bank of the river where you will find a turquoise 'lagoon'. You cross the river via stepping stones to end up at the source of the Tamara at a nice picnic area. With a little luck you can see wild goats balancing on the flanks of the ridge.
This walk starts in the picturesque village of Alquézar from where you descend into the beautiful gorge of the Rio Vero. From the gorge it goes to the hamlet of Asque, along the way you have beautiful views of Alquézar and you walk along olive and almond orchards. From the hamlet it goes back in the direction of the Rio Vero, but before you reach it you first have to go through a narrow gorge in the bed of a small river. You cross the Rio Vero via an old bridge to reach Alquézar after a steep climb.
