Walking tour along the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, a line where water was the defense weapon. The hike goes through De Steenwaard to the Werk aan de Groeneweg, via Werk aan de Korte Uitweg along a rampart with behind it a military road, the so-called Gedekte Gemeentesweg, to Fort Honswijk. After leaving Fort Honswijk, the walking tour continues through De Steenwaard and then crosses the river via the Liniepontje to Fort Everdingen or Werk aan het Spoel. After a visit to defense works, the walking tour goes through the Goilberdingerwaard and the Baarsemwaard back to Culemborg.
