Punta della Croce

Lago Combal

The hike to Rifugio Elisabetta in Val Veny is a beautiful tour that takes you through an impressive alpine landscape. The route follows an old military road along the picturesque Combal lake with impressive views of the imposing Miage glacier, one of the largest glaciers in the Mont Blanc massif, the Mont Blanc massif itself and the Aguille Noire, an impressive granite peak.

Testa di Entrelor

This not too strenuous mountain hike in the Gran Paradiso National Park takes you to the top of the Testa di Entrelor, a mountain between the Vallone di Entrelor and the Vallone di Sort. On this hike there is a very good chance of seeing chamois on the scree slopes at Sort-Alpe.

Grand and Petit Col Ferret

This walk goes through the beautiful Val Ferret valley, over the route of the Tour du Mont Blanc to the rifugio Elena and to the Grand Col Ferret that connects Val d'Aosta with the canton of Valais in Switzerland. From the Grand Col Ferret the route continues to the Petit Col Ferret. Along the way you have breathtaking views but especially the view of the Pré de Bar glacier is phenomenal. The Pré de Bar glacier is located on the eastern flank of the Aiguille de Triolet and the southern flank of the Mont Dolent.

rifugio Chabod

The goal of this walk is the Rifugio Chabod at 2750 meters at the foot of the Gran Paradiso with its 4061 meters, the highest peak of Aosta. The top of this impressive mountain is reserved for alpinists, but at the refuge you can fully enjoy the beautiful views of the glaciers and moraines in the vicinity of the Gran Paradiso.

Rifugio Vittorio Sella

This hiking trail is a classic in the Gran Paradiso National Park that you must do if you are in the area. From the tourist hamlet of Valnontey you climb via the royal hunting trails of King Vittorio Emanuelle to the refuge Vittorio Sella 900 meters higher. In the area you have a great chance to observe ibexes and chamois.

Alpe Money

The ingredients of this hike are the beautiful valley of Valnontey, the high trail to the pastures of Money, the descent via moraines and the unforgettable panaromas on the peaks of the Gran Paradiso and L'Herbetet with the surrounding glaciers of Tribolazione, Gran Crou and Money as decor. One of the most beautiful day hikes in the Aosta Valley.
