Salto Del Gitano.

You start in the beautiful village of Villareal and descend to the banks of the Tagus, crossing the river via an old bridge. You go next to the river and at Umbria de Puente you start a climb through mixed forest to the Fuente De La Parra. You pass a beautiful viewpoint and then start a descent and then climb again to the Castillo Monfragüe. At the ruins of the castle you have a viewpoint with a unique view of the entire area. You can also climb the tower to enjoy the panorama on the other side. You descend and go via an unpaved path next to the road in the direction of the Salto Del Gitano. You will certainly not be alone here because this rock is called the Vulture Rock. You can enjoy the flying in and out of griffon vultures, but also the black stork can be seen here. From the Salto Del Gitano you walk along the banks of the Tagus to the bridge for car traffic. However, the walk goes back to the old bridge to cross the river there and go back to the starting point.
