Le Haut Vernet.

The walk starts in the park Demontzey. In this park there is a statue of Prosper Demontzey, a pioneer in the field of reforestation. Already in 1862 he started such projects to combat erosion. From the park it goes through the Labouret forest to an altitude of 1544 meters. Along the way you have a few beautiful views and depending on the time of the year you get the yellow colors of the Brem for free. During the descent you get a beautiful view of the hamlet of Le Haut Vernet in a beautiful setting. Just outside the hamlet you can take a short detour to the chapel of Saint-Pancrace. Then it goes back in the direction of the park Demontzey.
