Le Viganais is a promontory of Mont Aigoual. This beautiful walk goes through the Coudoulous valley through a beautiful mixed forest in the direction of the Cascades d'Orgon. In the summer, these waterfalls are just a trickle of water, but in the spring and autumn it is a powerful and noisy river that falls down. The view from the panorama path on the Cascades d'Orgon is breathtaking. The rolling hills of Viganais unfold at your feet and in the distance you can admire the Cevennes.
The walk goes from the Plateaux de Blandas to the spectacular Cirque de Navacelles. After a long descent you will arrive at the fully restored Moulins de la Foux. From the mills you walk along the banks of La Vis to the hamlet of Navacelles. The walk takes you along beautiful paths to the ruins of the Château d'Allègre and the chapel of Saint-Saturnin.
