Abrigo de Voro.

From the starting point we head towards the Rio Grande and ascend to a path that goes above the river. You catch a glimpse of the famous Charcos, natural pools where many Spaniards come to swim in the summer. The path passes the Carbó cave, an old cattle pen protected by a balma. A little further you descend and cross the river. You walk over the gravel bed of the river. Finally you leave the gorge and climb to the Abrigo de Voro. This prehistoric shelter, home to 50 petroglyphs, has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A secured chain helps you overcome a few meters of height without it becoming dangerous. You now climb out of the gorge and go over the Sima de la Higuera to the Verdinos hill. The route continues on a wide unpaved road, you pass the ruins of Eliseo. You follow the route from Sarnosa to Planil. Eventually the unpaved road turns into asphalt and you start the descent to the starting point.
