Ruta Vicentina.

You walk through fields to a forest where the Acacias predominate. After this piece of forest you walk to the dunes of Almograve and you arrive at the beach of Do Brejo Largo. You now follow the famous ruta Vicentina along the coast through a beautiful landscape of dunes, bays with sandy beaches and rocks. This part also requires some energy because you are constantly going through loose sand. You will pass the beaches of Dos Picos and Da Angra Do Travesso. Then follow a descent to the beach of Da Foz Ouriços where you have to cross the Barranquinho river. Here you may have to show some creativity depending on the water level. If you cannot cross the road, you can follow the Ruta Vicentina which goes more inland. After the crossing you climb up again. When you have passed the beach of Ponta Dos Azulejos you walk back to the village and the starting point.
