Noordmolen.

There are 148 farms on the estate {recognizable by the black and white shutters} of which several can be seen, two mills including the Noordmolen, a water tower and sawmill. The oldest mention of Twickel is in 1347, when Herman van Twickelo bought the Eysinck house near Delden, which later became Twickel Castle. The Noordmolen is an oil mill, until 1825 there was a second mill on the stream opposite the moelen, a flour mill. The existence of the water mills on the site of the current Noordmolen has been proven by a preserved deed when Herman van Twickelo bought the Eysinck house with two water mills mentioned in it.
