The Groene Woud.

Landgoed Heerenbeek is a continuous, also old woodland area, three quarters of the area consists of moist deciduous forest. Poplars have mainly been planted here. De Mortelen, consists of an alternation on the one hand moist meadows and deciduous forest, on the other hand fields and coniferous forest. What makes the area so special is the small scale of the plots that are marked with hedgerows. As places of interest you will pass a country house from 1864, the white plastered walls and hanging towers make it look like a castle and at about 80m a monumental farm from the first half of the 19th century with in the yard an originally Flemish barn from 1628 which was converted in the 19th century.
