You start at the former toll booth in Untereisenbach in the direction of the church. You climb from the hamlet to the plateau of Walhausen. Here you will be presented with beautiful views. You walk along a traffic-calmed paved road in the direction of the Aketscht nature reserve. In the mixed forest, follow the small mountain paths on the ridge before descending steeply towards the hamlet of Gemünd. You follow the N10 for a short while and then cross the Our. You quickly leave the few houses of Gemünd behind you and the route continues in the picturesque valley of the Irsen. At the height of Übereisenbach you start the descent to the starting point that you reach after crossing the Our again.
