The route starts through a mixed forest and soon you can glimpse the Koeiven and the Paul De Vicq fen, which is often dry. From the wetlands you continue on a wide dirt road with beautiful views of meadows and grasslands on both sides. From the Geheulsedijk you walk further in the direction of the Hoogmoerheide. The path goes straight through the heath and then takes a dirt road in the direction of the Black Water. Just before N119 you can walk through a swing gate to go back and forth to the Black Water. When you have crossed the N119, follow the walking path next to the Bels Lijntje to the watchtower. You can follow a walking path here next to the cycle path. From the tower you have a unique view of Kleine Klotteraard and Grote Klotteraard. From the tower you follow a short part of the bicycle path of the Bels Lijntje and then go through the Klein Kuylen nature reserve. You cross the N119 for the second time and via the Nieuwe Bossen nature reserve you walk to the Klein England forest to return to the Engelandhoeve.
