The old tobacco villages of the Semois.
The region is marked by tobacco cultivation. Along the little steep roads you will discover more and more witnesses of the agricultural history of this region, such as the old tobacco drying barn and the tobacco villages of Mouzaive and Laforêt. In some places it seems as if time has stopped. Just before Laforêt you can take a look at the Pont de Claies, a primitive bridge made with woven branches, which is used in the summer to cross the river. Also worth a visit to the village Laforêt with its typical houses and its old tobacco drying barns. Laforêt belongs to the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia.
